Before and After School Tutoring Program
At Tropical Elementary

The success of our students, here at Tropical Elementary, is of utmost importance. To enhance our students’ Reading, Math and Science skills and performance on the FCAT, we provide tutoring classes in these major subjects throughout the school year. Math is offered to 3rd through 5th grades for three hours a week. Science is offered to 5th grade two hours a week. Reading is offered to 2nd-5th grades for 4 hours a week.

Beginning in January we will be offering Saturday School to 3rd through 5th grades until the FCAT. The students will be receiving extra assistance in mastering the skills that will be tested on the FCAT for Reading, Math, and Writing.

Our goal is to help every child achieve their highest potential. Through our constant assessments, data analysis and progress monitoring we are able to provide students with remediation they need through our tutoring program.
